Canadian High Performance Coach Summit

All successful high performance programs benefit from bringing together successful and influential leaders to discuss trends and keys to staying ahead of the competition.

The Canadian High Performance Coach Summit takes place once every four years, bringing together Canada’s leading Olympic and Paralympic coaches.

Coaching Summit Objectives

Through effective collaboration between Canada’s high performance sport partners, the summit will:

  • Inspire current and future Olympic and Paralympic Games coaches through a forum that shares best practices and world-class high performance coaching knowledge

  • Drive national strategies to enhance coaching expertise

  • Provide important engagement and networking opportunities

Through engagement with Canada’s coaches from Olympic and Paralympic sports, the Coach Summit will gather intelligence from top coaches and leaders. This exercise will contribute to the further development of CEP content based on world-leading coaching trends and experiences. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that the CEP remains focused on developing coaches who can deliver podium performances.

The Coach Summit will include:

  • Presentations from leading Canadian coaches that capture recent accomplishments and/or significant challenges

  • Facilitated discussions on world-leading coaching behavior as well as core coaching principles

  • Presentations from external high performance experts
